The story behind the famous recording studios of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. A group of musicians take a journey from Muscle Shoals’ early days with W.C. Handy through music made famous by Wilson Pickett, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, the Staple Singers, Percy Sledge, Paul Simon, Bob Seger, Mac Davis, The Rolling Stones, and more. Developed by Randal Myler with musical director Danny Wheetman.
