Iraq War vet Elliot Ortiz has a bright new career as a movie star. But shooting a film on location in Jordan, he finds that his wartime nightmares have followed him into his new life. Halfway around the world in a cozy North Philadelphia kitchen, his cousin Yaz takes on a new role of her own: the heart and voice of her crumbling community.
